MNMA Legacy Format-Media Lab Update.  May 1, 2020

We’ve been busy in 2019 incorporating some legacy format equipment donations from: Northwestern University-St. Paul, University of Wisconsin-River Falls, City of River Falls, Digital Pictures, Big Event, Sinard Productions, Stiever Productions, Badiyan, Saving Tapes/Cargill, Uptake MN, City of Eagan and Big Bang Productions.

Special thanks to all of you for supporting MNMA's "Magnetic Media Crisis" initiative by donating their expertise, equipment and software to help us constructing our legacy media lab capabilities.

We now have several viewing stations with media conversion capabilities for a wide range of legacy formats; EIAJ-½” reel to reel,  ¾” U-matic, BetaCam-SP,  DV-CAM, Mini-DV, 1” Type C, plus consumer formats; SVHS and Hi-8.
