Minnesota Media Arts Produces Cross-cultural Music Promotional Video for Local Arts Group "Harmonic Convergence"

Harmonic Convergence combines the Black and Jewish experience, through music and song.  Founding members of the Grammy Award winning Sounds of Blackness / Vocal Essence were able to join their talents with Jazz Composer/Arranger Mark Bloom to celebrate the commonality of their experience. Jazz, Blues, Spirituals and Hebrew musical forms combine to joyful and inspirational performance.

Mark Bloom of HCXpression engaged James Malec and the creative team at MNMA in 2019 to produce a music video showcasing Harmonic Convergence, their high quality sound and tributes to the Jewish culture and inter-religious understanding through cross-cultural experiences.
“Jim and his team were fabulous to work with in dynamically capturing our group’s performance. Editing the final video was professional and it really showed me that he understood the creative music process. Thanks to Jim and the crew at MN Media Arts.”
